Good to see Melbourne take it.
Now watching the sydney derby. As others say, great to appreciate a game for what it is when you are not baracking.
Kinda hope GWS win (because swans think they are all that, when they currently are not)
    Then GO THE MIGHTY MAGPIES!!!

I think the Giants are handling the ball better in the wet than the Swans are at the present. I think we can see Giants winning this arvos game. Then all we need is WCE to kick some Magpie butt.......

This Sydney derby is a bit of a yawn after the previous two games.

Was out so recorded both yesterdays games .
Yeah I know I'm a bit bias but Sydney game was a bit ordinary to watch .
Pretty much knew at half time it wasn't the swans day , gws controled them / were on top after early, just took them awhile to find goals. Ended up fast fwd the last quarter and half.

West coast / Collingwood though what a cracker of a game.
Now I can just enjoy watching finales footy.

Given @Deuce is unlikely to see the media around the footy across the ditch.

Kevin Sheedy on urging neutral fans to get behind the Giants this week in their game against Collingwood -

"They've won two premierships in 50 years. That's four hours of happiness in 50 years, that's enough."

Sorry, Deuce, you can blame Eddie McGuire for this but I'm not a fan of Collingwood.
Having said that I'm surprising myself and thinking I'd prefer them to win.
Correct me if I'm wrong but doesn't the winner of this game go onto loose against (I mean face) Richmond the following weekend.

I would like them to beat the Giants too.....that way the Tiges can smash them in the prelim.

In all seriousness, thats a bit stink of Sheedy. And how can anyone dislike Eddie?

I was glad GWS beat the swans, until pies lost to the **** eagles.
My picks this week is Melbourne and Collingwood win.
My pick next week is the same 2 win. Sorry Eagles, you suck! Sorry Richmond, you won last year, sit down.

Ha ha ha, don't know quite what it is, Eddie just really annoys me . Anyway you said the swans suck. I do partly agree with you, but it's the commitators/ experts that think they are more than they are ( of course the playing group and fans are going to think they're the bees knees)
Yeah, recon Richmond/ Collingwood ( which can't happen now ( as a grand final)) , or Richmond/ west coast would be closest grand finals.

I'm partly hurt, ha ha ha, I did say I'm going for them this weekend!!!

Like I've already said I now just have the luxury of enjoying what I think and hope will be great games
And to be be fair the 2 teams with the lowest form were the first 2 out.

I think Melbourne will beat Hawthorn.

Melbourne's pressure game last week was very good....similar to Richmond.

That style will overcome Hawthorn with their chippy chippy possession game.

I then expect that the same style of game will overcome the Eagles the following week. When Collingwood did it last week they took over. Pity they couldn't sustain it for long enough.

Collingwood v GWS this week I'm not so sure on.

Collingwood v Richmond would be a big prelim.

TL;DR Richmond to beat Melbourne in a cracker of a GF.

    That was a good article.
    So 1980 was #10 and 2017 was # 11 for you??

Ps I will avoid JC and FB on saturday as the game is on late friday night. I might stay up to watch 1st half and then catch the replay for the second half after work.
I will be a nervous reck all day!!
But can celerbrate/forget the result with the Dees beating WCE straight after it at 5pm Saturday.
