remove the standard fuse and plug the wire in.

open your fuse box under the dash, and plug the harness back in - youll know what i mean when you find it.
you should now have the extra light controls working.

your a dead set legend, i did what you said and the map lights work :thumbsup: lost my interior light operation though, pressed the switch behind the window switches and the interior light works too now and if i don't want it too work i just press the switch in and the map lights still work so all 3 now work

unless they stopped using them after the VX, there should be a switch to left of the steering wheel that looks like this:

push that and it will turn off all lights inside the car.

nah there isn't but there is a bigger version of that on the center console which cuts out the interior light, didn't have lights on when i pressed it, but if it doesn't all good.

um, technically. the v8 vn-vs cop car was fitted with a v8 185 kw tune?? i dont know if the engines are the exact same as the standard 165 v8, the cop cars were standard commodores equiped with all the ss **** except the body kit. although i do know that the v8 cop cars also had better fuel econemy cruising its possible but i know they are all 185kw hsv tunes

165 VN motors are the same all the way to VS motors. The only difference was bolt on stuff like exhaust, and tune, which gave the higher output.
