hi, I’ve got what sounds like a bearing noise but not sure what pulley or tensioner it might be. I’ve recently replaced the water pump so doubt it’d be a new w/pump bearing but stranger things have happened haha. Just wondering if anyone has had the same problem/s and if it’s a simple as changing a tensioner pulley that may be noisey. Haven’t gone as far as using a screwdriver to pin point which one it may be.

Cheers

Try removing all belts and starting the engine (don't have it running for more than 30 seconds). If the noise goes away, add each belt back individually and start it again each time to see which ones causing the trouble.

Or alternatively, spray one bearing at a time with CRC / WD-40 until you find which one stops being noisy.

OK thanks. Would a bearing noise be there if a belt was to tight even after new w/pump fitted recently, or would it be noisy straight away within an hour or so of running the engine with new pump?
