When I needed injectors I had mine cleaned with the special machine. Dropped them off one morn and collected them the next day. I paid $25 an injector IIRC.

That's not to bad but what was it like after you put them back in, what percentage would you say in the difference?

No idea i just had them cleaned due to age. The cleaned ones are just like original. They flow test them and won't give you back a faulty one.

It drove fine before and it drove the same with reco injectors, no difference that I noticed. It clocked up 200k so I thought it would be a good idea to have them reconditioned. Some workshops run the car on straight cleaner for 10mins. I heard that does little so i opted for a proper job.

Well here's an up-date, No I am NOT going to use them as I removed the fuel rail today and removed the old injectors only to find cheap Bosch copies was already being used in there...o_O

There will another up-date when the Genuine Bosch injectors arrive;)

Well what can I say I'm  the new Genuine Bosch injectors are in and up hills are Not any better and still has that miss or surge feel...
