Just performed a dry and wet comp test. Wet test did bairly anything. The car has 256xxxks on it. Results are
Left bank
75
100
125
Right bank
125
95
125

Doing a leak down in a couple days. Let me know what you guys think!

50psi variation is massive. No point doing a leakdown test IMO - heads are probably cracked.

The fact that wet readings made little difference means that the ring seal is good and that there is pressure loss elsewhere.

Did you do the test at WOT?

Try Merv Gray Invermay, he will probably be way better on price than you can get in Hobs. He is 1/2 the price of Shepards and does great work.

Top end issue no need for leakdown.

Headgaskets best case scenario or worst cracked heads which sucks if L67 as vaguely remember top end different to n/a ecotec
