Note the Hexagonal socket with rounded corners which will greatly reduce the risk of rounding off the bolt head.
Don't use the 12 point sockets for this job.

+1 for this advise if you so choose to accept it....

Use this type of socket...

NOT this type of socket, Unless they're high torque like the bolt Imoengnr has shown.

someone posts asking for help.....
what an awesome forum to be apart of
You got it, sport. If you stay with this forum, you need a sense of humour and a thick skin. Princesses need not apply.

BTW, asking about something as basic as undoing tight head bolts is bound to attract smart-arse responses as well as helpful ones.

Longer bar + greater force = Bolt head will snap
You'll be in deep ****...

Try to hit the bolt (with force) with hammer few times over ,then with six point socket try to undo.
Do this till it's out..

I used to have an impact socket like that. Hold it and smack it with a hammer. It would compress in the set direction and rotate the bolt or nut.

I don't think he is anywhere near that level of force yet. With the right socket and a long bar these will take 5 seconds each to loosen.
Can the OP post a pic of the headbolt?
People here are mostly very helpful and will help if you give enough information and take the good advice you get given.

People are helpful when the first reply from the OP isn't smothered with sarcasm...
