Hell the caprice i bought yesterday for $350 is better.
You've got alot of work to do champ. Good luck with it all.

you weren't kidding when u said she was a bit ruff.

as other said the easy way would be to buy a new shell and swap everything over.
im not for the easy way myself.

as long as you dont mind the work theres potential there :)
cant wait to see what u have done so far in the new photos.

Thank you all for being patient while I try and get these pictures uploaded. I will show you how I got the car and in the next couple of days, will show you what I have done to the car so far.

I think one of the pictures is a bit more recent as it has the new stato seats put in.

Enjoy!

the body itself actually looks very straight.
some new bumpers and boot and she will be massively improved.:D

Please don't quote pictures. It's annoying to have to read through a thread and scroll past the same pictures over and over.

Looks pretty rough but with a lot of time, money and elbow grease you could get it looking half decent.

Mate, there's enough diy guides on this forum and spare parts around. It won't cost you 5k, no way. Screw the paint for now just make it less of a deathtrap. My vp was a deathtrap when I bough it and so was my first vn. My vp is a half decent car now and it's never seen a mechanic.

Good luck!

I can definitely see the potential, It just seems like you didn't get the best deal on it. I'd forget about getting it painted or anything cosmetic until the mechanics are sorted. Make sure Brakes, suspension bushes, etc. are all up to scratch. If the tyres are shagged, get some second hand ones to keep it safe in the short term. Then give it a major service, and maybe take it to an LPG specialist to get her running nicely. After that you can worry about paint, rims, stereo, etc.
