Holden was around before GM had much involvement. I believe it was a body or chassis making Co originally. I think they imported the engines back before the FX came about. I saw a video of how Holden came about but my memory is vague on lot of things these days. I have an idea they may have made panels and chassis parts for makes other than Chev too.

51 Chevy Styleline. Had one at work a couple of months ago. It had a two tone paint scheme and really reflected its name.
I think the one above is pre 1950 now I look at the bumper.

Some of you people on this fine forum are so uninformed on wonderful cars from the past. I'm gobsmacked.
And I should add it's a High Light rather than a Low Light Minor.

It's a '49 Chev Styleline. Those had the same bumper styling as the one pictured by OP and the same indicators. So many way cool cars going through the pics.

The Morris had a similar shape, but different features.
Similar badge shape at a glance too.

You guys reminded me of the Morris the old boy had near my place in the 70's. He lived 3 doors down from the kindy.
I always liked it. He also had a newer 1970 Morris Major. I still like those cars too.

We've been sidetracked by the car in the background.

Thank f*** for that. I thought we may have been going off-topic, writing about Morries rather than Chevys ( or Chevies ? ).

Agghhh … no !! That will confuse the younger members even more.
I'm going through my second childhood. Is that the same thing?
