Because they're not a ZB Commodore. The only similarity is the exterior sheet metal.

They probably can but the only people that want a V8 are the people on this forum. Its not commercially viable.

The V8 supecars have nothing in common with the road going vehicle and haven't been in many years. They are a full race chassis with only body panels in silhouette of the road car and matching grill. The ZB panels wouldn't even fit because the wheel base and track width are different.

BTW. not everyone on this forum is V8 biased. I have both V6's and V8's

Well.....maybe the dealers have got the hint....i've seen one VXR on the road and one in black outside the dealer as a demo this morning. I've disliked the car in general up until now, but I have to admit it looked pretty good in VXR form. They might sell a few more with that range leader out front. Though those inquiring may raise the odd eyebrow when they hear the 61K driveaway (SA). 'showroom thought bubble'...might go test drive that Stinger if im forking out that much....
