It's actually really disappointing to those of us who don't know all the technical mumbo jumbo, and get duped by either lazy, lying or incompetent operators.

depends on what you mean by "duped" buddy. if youre AFR is a nice straight and true line, then your tuner has done his job and thats the end of it.

if you wanted a piece of paper saying you had six billionty-watts, then yeah, you got duped.

I think you've misinterpreted mate, or I haven't been clear enough. Never said anything about wanting a sheet saying I have lots of killerwasps, purely interested in the true gain from mods done and not interested in seeing a figure that is far too high. If you refer to Grennans post about 270+rwkw cars with just an exhaust, intake and tune you will get my drift.

(note red curve from last engine is plotted on bottom km/h scale, where new engine blue curve is plotted on top rpm scale, I have written on reference points to help.)
I've got at least another 300rpm on this combo over the old engine, more torque everywhere and possibly issues with fuel supply holding us back. So will be working through that and taking it back some time next year, because this seems to be getting a Dyno run every year now, LOL

Re-run with a new fuel filter:

AFR is down around 15.1:1 max now. Tune still needs work though.
I've picked up a good 15Nm through the early-mid range. But max output still sits around the same. (ignore the spike at the end where the Dyno backs off and throws false figures for a second)
Still can't work out why the old graph goes to a higher km/h with less rpm, unless it ran on into the next gear or something. Blue and Green runs were to roughly 6000rpm.

Overall, I'm quite happy with it. Throttle response is much improved. It has a lot more pull throughout the rev range, especially off idle.
