The 3-4 times I have it WOT it went completely sideways so a decent power increase.

3.45s are highly recommended. New tyres are in order me thinks.

Already got 3.45s, the launch is insane with new cam. Yes agree some new tyres will help, but can only run 245 wife rears

Great. I've only done about 8k kms since then but makes great power. No issues.
Good to hear! I just got a VE SS V Z Series wagon that I am thinking of doing something similar to. This thread has the answers to just about every question I have in my head so thanks for compiling it all

Good to hear! I just got a VE SS V Z Series wagon that I am thinking of doing something similar to. This thread has the answers to just about every question I have in my head so thanks for compiling it all
No worries.
If I had to have my time again, I would possibly get a smaller cam - something like a truck cam. Our cars are heavy, maybe a 212/220.
Still not sure though, I do enjoy the cam as it is and it's nice to shift at 6400 at WOT. I'd be sacrificing top end for low down and would be even better with the converter.
But the gains are so obvious above 2k RPM so I am just talking to myself :p

I’m glad I went a little smaller at 219/225.

Still has manners and low down torque
