About time they were called out.

Also, I know of mining companies buying electric machines and just parking them up, whilst trumpeting their green operations.

its the same as shipping coal overseas to be used and we call it reducing out emissions, its still being used !!!

also these greeneys flying all round the world saying they are paying to offset there emissions, ur still making the emission money dosnt erase that

i cant wait till all these kids grow up and realize when they are 85 years old ''didnt we say the word was going to burn up 70 years ago''

Fun fact: currently, there is no true “zero emission” vehicle as they have brake pads which emit pollutants.
Was watching a Joe Rogan podcast and heard this.

I was reading somewhere, which was an interesting point (one of many)

EV’s have special Rims for reduced weight, and Special Tyres for less rolling resistance,
And those 2 items are hard to dispose of if replacement is required.

Given the extreme environmental damage to produce the battery, the battery must reach 8 years at least to be on par with a normal gasoline powered car. I heard something like that.

I’m sure as hell not a fan of EV, and will never even consider buying one.

Heck, as soon as I am off my p plates and/or recieve a decent salary, I will be driving an abnoxious, lumpy cammed v8 that is bloody thirsty for dinosaur juice

u would have to dump your body too as breathing out is an emission, so we are going to have to breath less by 43% in law by 2030, apparently that ad with the hydrogen car uses less emission then a runner FALSE...

TBH, that sounds like another great interwebs myth.

Special eco tyres have been around for ages and tyre recycling is one of those things regardless of what vehicle it came off. EV's need tires with higher load ratings as generally speaking, EV's are heavier than equivalent sized ICE vehicles.
