I used supercheap 'heavy duty' terminals once

As soon as I tightened it.

Decent terminals aren't expensive from an auto electrician - 'stock replacements' will be nice and strong (what I use now) and then from there you can buy nicer stuff from Stinger, Audison Connection, Tsunami, KnuKonceptz etc

Fusion 4 gauge ring terminals and fork terminals are really good. You can't crimp them with pliers, you need to use a vice.. I think they are just over 1mm thick.

If your using a vice your doing it wrong. You need the proper hex crimper.

I've got some pretty nice crimps using a vice on 4-gauge before.

Crimpers cost money, vice is in the shed.

Not saying it doesn't work I just prefer to do it the right way when it comes to crimping terminals.
