Just done a few more hours on it... exhaust is all out, tail shaft is hanging there, gearbox and engine mounts are all unbolted, engine and gearbox is just sitting there... gonna hire a crane next week and get that out...

1 thing, the tail shaft is still connected to the gearbox.... there is no bolts or anything, how do we get it off?!

Just slide out of where it sits in the gearbox?
I'm not sure, didnt try to be honest, but it didnt look like it did

Well the motor and box woulda been out yesterday, cept i died and couldnt move out of bed for 36 hours so that didnt happen, itll have to wait til next sunday

Well.... me and troy just spent the whole day workin on the old girl, got heaps done...
Really stoked with how its going so far.
As we only get to work on it one day a week.
Today we got done:

-Motor/gearbox/tail shaft all out (For records sake the tail shaft did just slide out, thanks azk)
-Wiring loom out
-Interior stripped
-Dash out
-All heater hoses/pipes/radiator etc all gone.
-Boot all cleaned out
-Carpet and a lot of sound deadener gone

Prob a bit more too but i cant remember, im pretty wrecked....

we got a fari bit done today, which im proud about. its pretty much ready for the VN loom to go in now...

What i have leanrt today is.... if you cant get something out dont just say fark it and get the plyers and cut it, have a gud look and see if you can undo it. we cut the clutch cable and then realised after we took the dash out the we prob could of take it off the leaver, and when we cut the speedometer cable that we could of just undid a clip and off it came...stupid us, but ohh well...

Engine came out with no troubles at all expect for the gear stick snappin off coz it got caught in the tunnel...this is taken no time at all, but no doubt we are goin to hit a brick wall sooner or later...but me and geoff will keep u guys posted.....

Jeez u guys got a fair bit done. Sigmas gonna crazy as...somethin really crazy.

Oh and lol at that pic of troy leanin on the boot, made me laugh.
