Help!!!! leaking coolant at the back of the motor?

Do not open / disturb pressurised cooling system. Without any leaks or discharge, when you run out of water in the reservoir bottle, then you worry bout it.

the level in my overflow bottle is like 2cm above the max line ??

i use to do the same just check the reservoir until it started to overheat plenty of coolant in the reservoir but the engine war dry even the mechanic said always check the engine and you should see coolant same as yours

i thought it be the as the ecotec as it sucks the reservoir dry not the alloytec its a different animal

i always check both and havnt been topping it up the past few days to see if it gets any lower and it hasnt sooo is it pretty normal for it to sit that low ?

That's quite OK. Cause after you driven the car pressure buildes up, pushes the coolant into reservoir bottle, when you drive the car next time it will suck the coolant back in as its needed .

replace the radiator cap too

i was on this site to get other peoples different point off views mate since my partner aint around to help me with my stupid car !
and i do, do routine service checks to my car !
I just dont like getting just my mechanics point if veieq bcos he likes to name **** that need to be fixed that dosnt need to be !
