hey guys, i ended up using dynamat in my boot, it cut out a bit, i'd still like to cut out more though

There's your first mistake... Dynamat isn't for rattles, it's for resonances. Foam and rubber should be used to separate rattling items.

thanks for the help SWEEFU, i looked it up on there website, didn't find anything so i went to the shop while i was around that area and after asking 3 workers, i eventually found it.

I'd fill the bracing in the boot lid with silicone (find something neutral cure) give it a week to dry as it'll be quite thick.

Then deaden through the holes in the bracing, so the skin of the boot lid.

And finally, deaden across the whole inside of the boot lid, across the bracing.

Probably too late now..

I have seen people use bits of cardboard.. So that may work.

hmm i would have done the foam but i was to scared i'd #### something up. is it too late now ?
i still want to cut out more rattle.
