[General] how to tell a good 2nd hand commodore from a bad one

First gens cheek sills. a sharp tap should get a ping, dont want a hollow noise. Also bottom of doors, and around screens for rust. Most likely will have rust somewhere. (Vb-vk) (vn)
Buy cars that the doors open. sounds obvious, even is a donor its is still a pain in the ass
On Buick equipped commies look to see it the tab for removing/installing the engine is bent, could of had engine changed (vn-vr)
Engine mounts not saggy and resting metal to metal
And that it has the dash should have come out with (vb-vh)
And that the ex drug dealer hasn't left his book in it (vn)
