Really? Spot on, or just up on stock, using the formula you quoted: 260fwkw÷1.27=204.7rwkw.
The mid section exhaust with no tune would add 3/5 of nothing.
Yes, you are right about that. Just most L77 come in 218-225rwkW.

Yes, already appears posted above, art crafted to demonstrate a sales point but has no technical basis for comparison.
What it underlines is that which appears in other charts, that the stock engine makes 304 kW at 5400 RPM. Seems incorrect, please read this thread from the top.

But how? 225×1.27=285.75fwkw? So, Holden was downplaying the auto VE2 and VF1 V8 power to the market all along? That would be a strange marketing strategy to say the least.

Wilco.
So, is the inference that C&A have overstated the stock kw then, only to lessen the gap post mods & tune?

I moved the discussion specific to this thread topic over here to the technical section so we could discuss the VFII poor performance results. Please stick to the topic.
Feel free to start another thread tangentially on how the L76 / L98 / L77 camshaft differences play out in real tests vs GM’s homogenised output figure(s). In any case I intend to describe the discrepancy and decade long confusion caused by the use of GM’s VVT truck cams in our car as part of my build thread shortly.

No, the image depicts uncalibrated uncorrected results not backed with accepted standards of evidence. Data panel purposefully removed and results manipulated is clear.
Mainly a sales pitch, the interesting thing in relation to this thread is conflicting graph of stock output vs GM.

Great. Looking fwd to it.
Can you explain how a stock auto VE11/VF1 L77 makes 218-225rwkw as you stated?

No, do your own research for that, like look at the qualified charts above for starters. I intend to explain some of the confusion over the effect of camshaft and valve events in relation to output.

I didn't think so.
