Will taking off my mud flaps have any bad side affects? because there ugly as **** and i want them gone.

Only stone chips & a bit blasting from the grit on the road that is flung up by the tyres.

As above, so if you do bugger all driving on country roads then you should be fine.

took mine off the other day, paint was faded under it, turnd yellowish, abit of polish took it out, but u can still see abit of it, plus the screw holes is abit of a pain, but im soon to respray the rear bar so it'll b gone...

down side to it was that it looks so much higher now,
plus side. dosent scrape now, got a excuse to get it more lowered lol

Yes, the car will look higher for some reason, I took them off the VR and the car looked high, I put them back on because I do country driving, the the VR/VS mudflaps (not mounded) do a pretty good job as they are very big.

I dont mind the shiny logo on my rear mudflaps (VS version).

I've gotten the 3 screws on the outer of the mudflap off but the screw/bolt on the inner mudflap is ****en impossible to get off lol. Anyone had same trouble and figured a way?

I recommend putting the screws back in after you take the mudflap off... you don't know what trim might fall off. ;)

i went for rego and the guy said i needed them so he put some on.
