removed water pump this morning, sheared on of the small 4 bolts holding the pump housing:bang: not a good start. no matter took me a good hr to scrape all the old gasket off the timing cover. the old pump shows signs of leaking water so that explains my very slight usage of coolant thats better then a intake gasket as i'd originally though. used some VHT spray on copper gasket adhesive and fitted the pump, then i discover that my tube of gasket goo has gone of completly off so now i'm waiting on the missus to get home so i can go and get some:bang:
it's been suggested that i just remove the gear from tha ballance chaft and run without it. might be a good idea to try
