The best speakers I have heard off the factory deck were Kicker DS600's coaxial.

Thanks for the responses guys. So if I get an amp to power the speakers the problem should be fixed?

Then you can look at sound treating your doors to improve it ;).

As a thought... verify that you haven't reversed the wiring on one or two speakers. Have at least one speaker out of phase with the others will kill the bass.

Just to explain why you have less bass with aftermarket speakers. More power is required to make bass than treble so when you bought less efficient speakers the power you had available wasn't enough to produce the same amount of bass as the more efficient stock ones. More power should help with this. Sealing your door will also help with bass response.

At the moment you have 22Wrms of power from your head unit to run 50Wrms speakers. I'm pretty sure the stock speakers are 15Wrms, that's why they were being powered properly.

350W divided by 4speakers equals FK-all power to the 'bass' woofer of the whole speaker.
should have got 350W 2-ways for what it sounds like you want.
Doesn't work like that unless they're all playing the same frequencies. The 3 "tweeters" would be high passed so the woofer would be getting the full power and the 3 "tweeters" would be sharing power in the shared frequency range.

Hence why when asked the best speakers to use... the factory speakers.
