So that "out of engine" is connected to the top port on the BBG.

On the remote filter it's the lowest port that (I believe) links up the the outside of the filter.
The upper port on the aeroflow is more in the middle in line with the centre of the oil filter

Certainly looks that way. Looks interesting with that thermostat build in.

I might have to investigate....

I've bypassed the filter to try and get some oil moving.

The hose going to the engines in port on the BBG block, I've filled it with oil and connected it strait back over to the out port on the engine. Thus filter bypass, please lube my engine.

Cranked it for 10 seconds and disconnected the hose to fill it back up, but it's still full...... Oil pump isn't sucking oil?

That spot I'm pointing at, that shorter hose goes into the engines 'in'.
(Lower port on BBG block)
It's full of oil, took maybe 400ml or so to fill it. Assuming I filled the pump too.

But yeah, cranking doesn't pull oil down.

Yup... Just started it. Sounds like it's ground it's cam lobes off.

Anyone want to swap a freshly blown V6 for a push bike

No it was a sweet find, full stock with dated paperwork / mechanical history etc, 96,000km
So yeah I'm pissed at myself and all this.

Btw, I have oil pressure now...
Now that Ive spent 3 days and nights fighting AN fittings and lack of clearances and metal trans and power steering lines. Now that I've built it, pulled it a part and put it back together exactly how I had it before (aside from moving gauges and adjusting the pressure bypass preload). Now that my engine is knocking. Now I have oil pressure.

I think my pro tip for everyone else is, fill your oil hoses with oil as well.
I filled the engine, filter and oil cooler... and couldn't get oil pressure in time.
I also pulled the bung out above the filter and top filled the filter housing as well, giving it time to drain and refill. But again none of that helped.

It was manually filling the oil hose that goes into the engines 'in' that made the difference.

Try backing off the screw. It looks like you are holding the relief valve open. The valve should be covering the hole in this photo until it reaches full oil pressure.

It doesn't hurt to pull the plugs and turn the motor over to prime it before trying to run it. Roller lifters are more forgiving than old school FT cams.

That's one thing I don't get about these plates. That pressure adjustment screw effectively push the bypass valve in/open. In my mind a stronger spring behind the valve is a better solution.
