Welcome to Just Commodores, a site specifically designed for all people who share the same passion as yourself.
Can it enable edi?
Really, the last of the latest and greatest limited edition Holden’s should have got such a system as standard... but Holden was cheap...

Heah I know it wasn’t ever an option on Holden’s, so just sloppy wording on my part to say “standard”. But it should have been a feature included in a $70k motorsport that still wasn’t feature equivalent to the Chevy SS which was sold as a runout at a 30% discount in the statesIt was never a Holden option...
It was a relatively cheap option on HSV, very expensive aftermarket option on Holden.

Something similar to EDI should have been included on the motorsport as standard. Software wise it’s bugger all to code such a feature within MyLink and on a motec module (which is probably dumber than a $30 RPi compute module)
yes it works like a dealer level mdi with gds2 to allow full dealer level diagnostics and also works with a tds subscription which allows module programming like adding keys, firmware updates etc.
out of the box it has the gds2 diagnostic packages included for gm (holdens) between 2014 and 2020 and the tech 2 emulator(tech2win) for holdens before that.
a tds subscription for programming/updates costs $55 for 2 years for 1 vin

for $200 it is not a bad buy.
Dude!!!! This is amazing info!!!!
So for those with say Win10 and not a VM, will it still work based on your previous instructions?
