Lets brainstorm my oil leak please.
So i finally got around to having my inlet manifold gasket replaced by a mechanic.
He didn't tighten the negative battery terminal up properly which caused a short term problem, but now it seems i have a bigger one.
A massive oil leak, followed by a 'tractor' sound coming from the passenger side of the engine block.
The car is leaking on top of the sump area. Not noticably above that. It appears to be oily around the return lines on the drivers side under and around the filter but also on the passenger side as well.
Given i have shot engine mounts too, is it possible that the engine shake on the cross member* has caused the sump damage and that's the problem? I can't get my head in to look that far. Plus the noise possibly
Any idea?
