The LF1 was replaced by the LFW in 2011 and is exactly the same so get a LFW I have done 2 Lf1 to LFW now and no problems whatsoever.

So lfw also direct swap in?
Yes the LF1 and LFW are exactly the same from a VE and you will have no issues.
You can even use a LFW from a VF but you have to change the sump and pickup to the VE one.
Don't get confused and get a LFX as that needs a new ECU.

What this bastard said. Get an engine with the RPO code of LFW.

This will give you the least problems during the swap over.
