I used masking tape on the dash harness. Marked what each plug was for. There are big plugs going into modules and fuse panels in the foot wells, I wrapped them in bubble wrap which made things easier. They didn’t catch on anything, not get damaged.

Just took the brake booster off, here’s how bad it is

Yup. I had a look it didn’t look like the brake booster leaked but I’ll get a new one anyway only 80-120$. I still have more of the dash to go. Im
Thinking for the surface rust wire wheel and use some rust prevention paint

Use some rust converter after a quick wire wheel, just to stop that oxidation from starting again.

That’s what I did. Rust converter and then epoxy, then some colour and clear coat.
Masked up what I could inside and out.
