Bonnets back on with the help of my rusty shed broom.

Went to clean the passenger guard up and in the right light found a bit of clear damage/yellowing that wouldn't come off with polish from the heat on that side.

Reshot it on Saturday (which took almost all day thanks to the weather) but won't be able to polish it and fit it up until the weekend hence not having the bonnet struts on yet.

This is why you always buy more paint than you need when respraying a car :)

Highly recommend the trufit bonnet insulator over rare spares/oem @NORTI

stitched around the edges so it won't frey, and it's also moulded/solid backed so it doesn't flex and bend like the OEM one too so theoretically it shouldn't sag with age.

Not as long a time as quoted?
nah that was about the response they gave me when I queried it.

However it said 3-5 days shipping and in stock when I bought it on the listing, thats what I wasn't happy about. nowhere on their ad did they said they were made to order, until I actually questioned why it had been so long.

Windscreens done!

Ended up having to go through O'Briens. Even though Shannons allows choice of repairer, if you want to use your own glass mob you need to pay for it yourself then try and get the money reimbursed by Shannons, which was a bit **** as most glass people have the ability to directly bill insurance. And while I have no problem paying for it, I know it can be a battle trying to get money back from an insurance company, and they can draw it out a long time.

either way, I was skeptical but they did a good job, no damage, paints not scratched etc.

Ass puckering moment watching old mate on the shed cam doing it, in 10 years he's the first person other than myself to work on the car. So this was a very new feeling having to put my faith in someone else.

Nicely done. It's **** watching someone else working on your car when you've been burnt by dodge work before.

Do I spy the new seats in the car? Last post was them clean about 5 pages back
