Radio Code After Holdens Been Shutdown?

I recently replaced the battery on my 01 vx exec, obviously this tricked the security code for the radio. I contacted the previous owner who has no recollection of the card or the number. What’s a good plan of attack to find the code?

A tech2 diag tool should have access to the stored codes for keys etc.

So annoying. Someone, somewhere would have a sneaky legacy copy surely. Some ex Holden person. That’s what I’d like to think anyway.

It’s horrible to think someone has pressed a button and gone “delete”. Gone.

Keep guessing the code starting with 1111 all the way up to 9999.
Simple. But if you have the original books it is often written inside somewhere.

Depends how many digits in the code and how many number keys on the panel. I had a vs and was working through the possible combinations for a week or so before I found the right code in my book hahahaha. There is no zero key and no 7,8,9...
There's really not that many. If you try morning and night you will crack it in a few months. No big deal.

Rubbish, prove you own the vehicle and then call into a Holden SERVICE centre and they will give you the codes.
