Upsizing seems to be catered for in road regs more than putting narrow rims and narrower tyres on the rear (so they match the front)... It seems changing rears of my LE to match the fronts is not allowed even though the exact same driveline comes with 4 identical tyres on lesser models.
Can’t see the logic of such but if only Holden had the old style tyre placard that listed all valid combos for a particular model (commodore, astra, etc). Now it seems to be compliancing is per model variant (evoke, ss, redline, etc) which is bureaucracy gone wild.
