My vs acclaim had a minimum load index of 92 too. If you go for a 95 or so then you'll be sweet

Thus the problem bud, there's no such thing as a 235/35/19 with a load index of 95! There is one tyre in australia that is Load index 92, the rest are 91 or 90.

18s however is no problem.

Wow they're almost all 91. Yeah i just assumed it would be the same as a 235/40/18. What about going to a 245/35/19? They have decent load ratings 93-98.

yeah 245s are another option, but the fact is they will scrub - which makes them illegal too , although you 'might' be able to get them past a rwc IF they don't scrub while the guy is driving.

225/40/19? Seem to have decent load ratings. Will probably put speedo a bit out though

I run 245/35/19's and they dont scrub... its on a VY though and there is only 3-5mm clearance so if your strut top bearings are gone they will rub
Not sure how similar the vy is to the vs as i think the vs is narrower at the front

Yeah VT-VY 245s are no issue, VS - completely different story.
