I think newbies have to make a certain number of posts before able to send a PM. I believe the rules were changed a little while back. I had a someone PM me 0 or 1 post count. I told him to ask the question in the appropriate forum. He didn't like that and reported me...., saying I was being rude???? Sometime after that the rules changed, but I don't know how long after? I thought heck, I'd upset people and said a lot worse than that, and that was the first time I have been made aware I was reported.
