VE E2 HSV Issue...

Hey everyone,

My old man has a E2 HSV - Was driving it yesterday along the northern expressway, and sitting at 110 the whole car was shaking as if it was unstable.... It was coming from the rear of the car. I slowed down to about 70 and put my foot down and it was every worse under acceleration... He has had new tyres put on about 3000kms ago, Federal 595evos 275/30/20. Any ideas on what this could be? It has been used for burnouts nor does it have a 'very hard life'.

Any help would be great!!

Buckled wheel, wheel weight fallen off, loose driveshaft...

Any other symptoms?

Did the shaking get slower when you slowed? Was there any other noise? Grinding, thumping, scrubbing?

Did it suddenly come on or did it come on slowly?

Wheels arnt buckled as far as i know, wheel weights might of fallen off i shall check that and not sure bout drive-shaft.

No other symptoms no noises or anything.

it comes on pretty quick when accelerating heavily and then when doing 105+ its just consistent shaking :/

So under say 100kmph there is no vibration?

Manual or auto?

Yeh non under 100, and its Manual...
