My Series 2 Sportswagon has (had) a warning sensor for if something wandered into my path when reversing. A year ago it stopped working. Not particularly bothered, but it has a warning buzzer that sounds whenever I start and there is a warning in my dash all of the time about it. This is irritating to the point that I now want to fix the stupid thing.
Last service Holden diagnosed it as a faulty parking sensor ECU and quoted me $450 to replace. I can buy a replacement ECU and do it, but not sure where it is. The service guy at Holden said I need to drop the rear bumper to get to it, but I can’t see even Holden putting an ECU outside of the body shell. Can anyone tell me where it is located?
