Odd that used calipers and rotors from a source vehicle can be installed on your SS but the old (matched to the rotor) pads from that source vehicle can’t o_O

He just said he preferred new pads on a job like this as you never know what life they had...and for $150 all up for front and rear Remsa I would hate to fit it all up and then have to replace them.
We'll just skim the rotors lightly as they've only done 25 000km.

It should be here with me on Monday and then I will book it for install....
I am doing everything as asked so he can just come, see it and sign it off...

I trimmed the lip on the rear dust shields today. I used dremel with metal cutting discs. Was pain in the ass but it's fine now. I hit the edges with black caliper paint so it looks good. I did it with the rotors on so the bottom was tricky but got there in the end

2 hours from getting the tools out to having it all packed up hahahhaha

I have angle grinder but was worried sparks etc will damage the paint if it starts going everywhere...

Dremel was slower but not too many sparks...Took 6 cutting discs to chop it and then some sanding bits to make it nice and even...
