VF SS. The 'sensible' daily

Hi all,

Been lurking around the forums for a while but never had anything worthy of posting up till now

Always had v8 Commodores but this is by far the best thing I've ever owned

It's a 2015 VF ss storm. Picked it up new in August and since then have lowered it, put the ssv wheels on it, some tint and my plates. Should be going in next week for the standard tune/Otr/exhaust. It's a daily driver but would love for it to run a high 12 while still retaining good fuel economy which I'm confident it'll do.

I change cars fairly often so I don't really have any other plans but if I keep it long enough it may see a top mount blower at some stage

Had the Otr exhaust and tune done today. Highest figure was 331 at the wheels which I was stoked with

Hopefully I can crack a 12 at the drags and then see how far I can push it on a shoe string budget

Perhaps try running E85 in it?

Not a fan of e85. Ran it in my last car and didn't see the advantage.

That was hp. Pretty stoked as the exhaust is only a VF gts centre section with standard rear mufflers to keep the noise down

Nice increase :beer chug: i've got a full system 3" its a bit loud though (under acceleration anyway) when you just take it easy its not to bad (not that that happens often) :driving:

Took this to the drags tonight and got my 12.9 first pass out

Now for a set of hsv headers and cats, some 3.46 diff gears and a retune and I'm hoping to crack a 12.5
