Are you saying that a 6 year old VF Wagon is better than something like a modern day 2023 BMW M3 Wagon?
Generally speaking, people tend to zoom in on cars they can likely afford and although they may like and appreciate the looks of some top end cars beyond their reach, it's not in their mind for too long. If you put a mint VF wagon alongside the M3 with for sale signs on them, the interest in the Commodore would be tenfold that of the BMW guaranteed!

The VF Sportwagon's look great, the best of the Commodore wagons.
I could never see myself driving one of those fugly Bavarian Money Wasters...

I feel that the VF, even 10 years later is still a fantastic looking car, with a look that is rather timeless. Especially compared to the hideous cars out there these days.

I always find it funny how so many reviewers of the Chevy SS knocked it for being under styled, or “looks like a Malibu” (Don’t know what pipe they’re smoking to think that)

And yet that’s why it looks just as good today as it did 10 years ago.

Prime example of their poor design taste is the corvette, the C7 design IMO is timeless, the C8 is gonna look horrid in 10 years time, which is a shame given it’s engineering prowess

The rear looks OK IMHO, almost as good as the VF wagon.

The front though … OMFG. I don’t have the money to buy an M4 wagon, but if I did, it’s the appearance of the front-end which would be my biggest hurdle. I’ve always been more about function over form, but something that fugly is really hard to get over! I doubt the big upright grilles are needed, I’d be way more likely to consider one with the generic/standard 3- or 4-series front end …

Only Americans. Bad taste is good taste over there, as long as it‘s LOUD IN YOUR FACE. Everyone wants to yell the loudest.

6 years on from the last Commodore production, I walked out of the shops towards my VF2 SV6 wagon and not only did it look brand new from a good detail and polish with the Slipstream Blue popping in the sun as it does, but more importantly was the image of what a great looking car the VF Commodore is today across the range from sedan, wagon and ute, they still in my eyes look brilliant!

I’m amazed at how often it happens. I often park in the outreaches of the carparks with heaps of empty carparks. Then I come back and another car has parked in an adjacent space.

Maybe it’s a ‘safely in numbers’ thing or something? Who knows, but I do know they could have parked in an awful lot of spots, but they choose the one beside the lonely car.
The outlier defines the bounds of the carpark. So never park the furthest away. If you do, all the other rebels think ah, that's a great idea, this champ knows what he's doing I'll park next to him. So always be the second furthest LoL. That signals to everyone to spread out ;)

This is why you need to find the spot with the pillars on both sides!!

Although … parked the car at Bunnings with the pillar on one side, last weekend, then on the way home noticed that the mirror on the pole side had been flipped back with what looks like a bit of paint on the black plastic on the tip of the mirror. Which makes no sense, no way anyone could have reached the mirror with a piece of car. No idea how they did it, assumed at first some dick had walked past the car & flipped the mirror back, but how did the bit of white ‘whatever’ get onto the mirror?

They were probably carrying something white purchased from Bunnings and hit the mirror with it walking past the car. Bunnings has a few risks with the gear they sell, someone losing control of the 5 metre length of angle iron on their shoulder etc!
