You are using the matching keyhead with the replacement BCM ?

Swapping the BCM makes this whole exercise pointless.
You have a mess atm and I would charge extra to fix it. Don't take this the wrong way but it's very hard to diagnose over the net because you've tampered with so many factors. If you fix it Great! but if you've ever seen the pic with the different rates for customers that watch you and try and help you, well the highest increase on the meme image is the person the trys to fix it them self and resorts to the mechanic.
It's actually an insult as you think we are not worthy and rip offs then you tow your **** box in..... We dont like that.... just a hint.
I appreciate where you’re coming from and I completely understand, so thank you for the hint.
If it makes it any better at all, the original bcm and computer is all back in the car. I had simply been advised by a mechanic mate to try it. As for the rest of my tampering I have only really swapped parts around with my other vs to see if that one will run on them.
Hopefully I haven’t f’cked it

Ah right, well that changes things a bit.
I have the original one back in now anyway, but yeah they were different, my other Ute was the 92049148 Ute one, this one is a Low 92056494.
The bcm works fine with the key’s remote to turn off the security to let it crank.
Can you tell me if it will stop it firing though, even if it lets it crank?

The other owner probably swap pcm and bcm around also which is why it's not starting, get a memcal with vats removed.

Test the DFI plug with the site I posted if you go down the page you will see all the ways to test the harness, pulse, 12v, cas, once you work out which wire isn't giving you a signal trace it back or replace it, also the harness pins could be bent or not making contact with the DFI socket, Also test your injector wires with a test light with ignition on it should glow if 12v is present, one of the 2 should glow..

If the wrong bcm is used from the original owner well the only way to know which one is correct is ask Holden by suppling them with the vin number but they probably charge you.

Thank you, I have tried some of that, but I’ll give the rest a try as well.
