VT - Trip meter/odo have disappeared from MODE display

Hi all

Just had my VT serviced today and noticed when I drove it away that my trip meter and odo were missing from the display (usually odo, trip, dist to empty, overspeed when you press MODE). Trip meter is handy to have!

I did the 'hidden' features with mode+right button as I turned on the car and they are all there but the trip meter and odo have gone from the usual display. Is there any way you can reset the display so it comes back to normal or is something seriously stuffed???

Any answers would be welcome. Cheers

Go into customise mode and fix it.
Hold down the MODE button while you turn the ignition from OFF to ON

Choice 1, ODO shown or skipped. Use up and down to chose YES or NO.

Choice 2 Trip distance. Feature available or skipped. < you're choice.

Choice 3, DIstance to go.

Choice 4 Ajust distance to go.

Choice 5, Underspeed or overspeed chime

Look's like whoever reset the service reminder did a few extra thing's...Maby did not know what they where doing?

I knew you could do some neat things with the MODE button but never heard that till now!!
