If you dont have a vacuum handy you can do what i did and stuff rags down each runner so that you dont get any big lumps of **** in your intake

Good idea that one. Pretty sure you don't want this kind of **** in your engine

when i got to mine there was about 3-4mm of crap in it and was causing the engine to stall cause that and the oil from the PCV was getting in the IAC

The reason i did it was i was getting lumps of the stuff and the last thing you want is that getting stuck on a valve seat or something like that... much easier that having to run a vacuum cleaner out to your car
