If yo purchase a new cluster a Tech 2 scan tool should be able to change the kms from zero to match your car.

Hey. I just brought a level 3 cluster from a calais for my executive. The series, transmission and engine type ect. Are the same. The only concern I have is the air bag configuration. My car being and executive model has driver and passenger air bags, but I'm guessing a calais would also have the side air bags. If I install the new cluster will it throw air bag faults at me?

yes it will. And then until you get it programmed - chimes.
