Since yesterday I was determined to fix the missing paint from removing the front quarter trolley strip. A small trip down to Sprints Auto Parts and $56 later I got the right tools to tackle the job.
Enough chit chat, here's a before and after of how it went.
Just remember, I am in no way of a professional and this was my very first time trying to repair car paint, I'm in no way overlly happy about the outcome but I didn't expect it to be perfect.

I know, it looks like a big white sticker and the white looks completely off although it is J064.

Moved 2 of them across the country so all 3 could be together again :)

Have to do the same thing myself next month!
Drove the VP around the block, found a noise and pulled into the driveway, jacked the front up and couldn't find it. Jacked the rear and put stands in. Went to start car- wouldn't start and battery subsequently went flat. Went to pop the bonnet- Bonnet wont open. Rolled car into the shed in disgust.
Tommorow pull the inlet manifold and silastic the crap out of the inlet manifold- IF I can pope the bonnet. Not Happy Jan....

Just get someone to push down on it when your pulling on the latch.
