I had my brilliant exhaust expert mate re-work my "Y" (more like "h" pipe) on Friday. Long story short, we decided to chop the "h" pipe straight out & do full stainless custom mandrel bends with twin 200cell 2.5inch bullet cats.
Mental gains in the mid range - wow, chomping at the bit to stroke it to 4.3 / allow at least 8-10 psi S/C FI - LSD Diff converted to 3.45 over the stock 3.08 LSD, we are looking at a monster buick 6 in hiding (a wolf in sheep's clothing). Pretty much me to a tee hahaha ;> quick 1/4 miles are awaiting after last stage of performance upspecs - so much punch as is - smokes pretty much everything off the line, yes that's right - this humble old VP-S V6, KICKS ASS -> BIG TIME !
Also fitted up the deep aluminium trans pan with drain plug whilst replacing the lockup solenoid with a brand new one.

Broke the bloody coolant cap off on my vz Calais trying to put it back on, the old spring type one :/ Now the car is sitting on the steep driveway blocking my parents cars.... Repco here i come.

Replaced dash lights
Replaced some broken clips
Replaced single din with double din
Removed all three amplifiers
swapped over speakers for a basic low powered 6.5" splits and a pair of 6x9s
Removed Bluetooth handsfree
Replaced a bunch of missing screws
Rerouted reverse camera from mirror to headunit

Tidy day all up.

Fixed the cluck that started in the front suspension about 5 days ago. It was the nut on the ball joint of the sway bar link pin on the driver side it had worked its self loose, tighten it up no more clunk.

tightened the power steering belt and gilmore belt on the ss... then gave it a good detail.. now i can actually see the green in it haha (panther mica)
