Tested battery and is OK - still on the original battery from 2014. Is this unusual?

I have struck batteries that have been used in high demand situations (ie constant stop and starting of the vehicle) that have lasted 10 years....

Finally replaced the whiteline strut bushes on the front with superpro

Current ride height is now 365mm guard to center of hub for both front and rear

Whilst both bushes looked fine and were a typical height, unloaded, to the new ones, the bearing on the drivers side was trashed, and the whiteline bush was noticeably harder when I poked them with a Phillips head screwdriver

Car handles like a dream, is way more compliant when the front hits a bump, and doesn't scrape over my nemesis speed hump at work, or out the driveway with the adult sized kids in the back

Winning

Another " I'm bored and on ebay" purchace

F137N with the ADP137

I'm not sure I'll need the adapter, hopefully not, but better safe than sorry

I've used these on lots of other cars, the added convenience is priceless

I just bought a new battery for my SSV today as I bought the car 16 months ago so I don’t have any provenance on the battery that’s in it and it looks quite old.

Batteries in my SV6 generally last about 7-8 years as they aren’t being cooked by the heat in the engine bay so yours still going since 2014 isn’t very unusual but I’d say it probably won’t last a lot longer.
