I would hazard a guess that a plod somewhere on your trip will take a strong disliking to your set up @losh1971.

I can't see a banjo amongst any of your stuff. (The photos are a gag, aren't they ? )

Plod may not like it, i agree 5.0 but I made the load legal. Everything is secured properly including the gear sitting inside the tub. Nothing is past the mirrors I reckon i have about 1/2 a tonne load. My biggest issue is the corner sway as there is a fair amount of rear sag. As for the ferry they will be fine, i have a ticket for a vehicle over 2.1m high. I hope i dont see any police, just to make things easier...

You are currently in SA ? To get to Tas, you have to drive through Vic . Right ? The Vic Guv are short of funds. The police there help with correcting that deficiency.

I am nervous about traveling through Vic. I'm leaving at 4.30am. Horsham to Pt Melb is where i hope i don't see any police. Although i am confident i cant be booked i still don't want to be pulled over.
