What Steel Braided Brake Lines to Buy?

Also I got mine from Race Brakes but not sure who supplies them, Goodridge rings a faint bell but not 100% on that.

The last time I got braided lines from Race Brakes in Sydney they made them inhouse to suit.

What would I expect a mechanic to charge to install front and back braided lines?

race brakes sell them for $290. If I can get noticeable increase in pedal feel (mine feels spongy in calais even after adding DBA 4000 rotors and XP pads) I might do it.

the local guy who has serviced it was concerned the ABS module might be effected?

I cannot see why? Would be interested to hear what would cause his concern.
Had 2 VE’s fitted with them without issue.

Was the hydraulic system flushed and bled properly?

I haven’t had it done yet mate…….

No problems with abs module on my ve after fitting the braided lines I just bled the brakes as per normal and all was good, you just have to be keep an eye on the fluid level in the master cylinder so as not to completeply drain it when your changing over the hoses

How many hours of labour to change over hoses / bleed? Just want to know roughly what it will cost

I haven’t had it done yet mate…….

I think he means when you put the rotors and pads on.
