the thing is though, that chances are buying 0ga cable, fuse, and distribution block will cost more than buying two runs of 4ga cable, and two fuses/holders.

plus, it'll be more difficult to run the thicker 0ga cable through the car ;)

It's a nightmare to get through the firewall properly and you can't really hide the cable running through to the back.

It was simple to get 0ga through the clutch grommet of my VT (auto obviously). Go grab the jar of vasaline from beside your bed and lube that cable up, it slides through pretty easily :) I have to admit I loosened her up with some 4ga from the previous stereo in the car though. Running the 0ga at the bottom corner of the sill hid it too. You had to push on the carpet to know it was there.

its not that its overkill.

its that two runs of 4ga will handle the same current as a single run of 0ga, and no need for a distribution block in the back.

yeah i know, i just dont wanna pull everything apart to have the cable re-layed, so ill just add a distribution block in the boot. add the other amp and presto all good..

im also having trouble finding another piece, its a wire splice clamp of some sort, like when you piggy back a wire on another one a tape it up dodgy, is there a "piece for that"
like a T piece??
