Anyone knows if Holden sells this part (circled). Might throw on the rest of R8 intake but need this parts to fit it....
It's on LS3 powered VF HSVs.
If anyone knows or can get me a part number please let me know...

Cheers

Legend !
I just realised that the intake pipe/elbow is not HSV specific. It is LS3 Camaro part
Makes me wonder why holden would redesign the intake elbow if there was alread an off the shelf part ?
Maybe because they added mse...?

VF intake pipe looks the same as VE with the resonance boxes removed. VE would have been before Camaro (I think?)

The Camaro pipe also needs an extra adapter to fit to the MAF, and doesnt fit as easy as the VF pipe did.

HSV has to have many points of difference from Holden too

Yeah...i noticed a small adapter just before maf with hsv stamped on it.

I wonder if HSV/Camaro elbow would flow better than the stock VF one

It's the controller for the bimodal intake?
Or the air pipe coming off the intake?

This. Goes to driver side rocker cover breather

I thought so, the standard SS intake should have one coming off it too? I watched a video on swapping in a VCM OTR and this was disconnected then at the start and reattached once fitted.

Stock ss one connects to the same point on the engine but then goes over the throttle body and connects on the passenger side of intake elbow..
