Driving on roads is 100% a choice too, you could walk everywhere if you disagree with socialism so much. Oh and make sure you don’t avail yourself of the ambulance, fire or police services, they are socialist too. .

I pay for ambulances here in Victoria, so I’ll take one of them if I need.

You automatically reject any argument that disagrees with your worldview out of hand so we all know nothing would ever be a comparable example to you regardless.

The fact of the matter is all well functioning societies need both socialism and capitalism and someone supporting more or less of either shouldn’t be derided because they use one or the other of those things.

When have I argued that societies don’t require some form of socialism? As you said it all falls on a spectrum, the extreme at either end would be bad.

I mentioned it’s laughable to go on a rant about capitalism while actively contributing to it. Why not invest in treasury bonds if so against capitalism?

So people have to opt out of the system if they disagree with it? I wasn’t aware that was part of the rules.

It is entirely possible to disagree with the way the system is structured yet still use it to your best advantage. Why should someone who disagrees with the system disadvantage themselves and their life purely because it’s “hypocritical”?

Disagreement is different from a weekly venom filled rant. It’s like a rabid vegan buying shares in a livestock company lol

Cheers Einstein. I used to live by my mantra that labour should be paid more than capital and I didn’t invest in anything other than the compulsory super that I had to.

Then I realised that the system won’t change to the favour of labour as capital has well and truly bribed the system to work in its favour.

The only way to get paid anything decent in this system is to leverage capital to pry money away from the workers who actually make it. If you can’t beat them joint them, doesn’t mean the system isn’t broken though.

Personally if I don't agree with something I have nothing to do with. Even if its cut the nose of to spite the face so be it. Thats just me not what I saw happen during covid , people lining up but would not let them jab their children. The things those that worship that god of money do.
