Yeah but time and money Will take it to an exhaust shop and get their take on it.

ECU still hasn't arrived. They aren't answering the phone or emails. Luckily I did it all through eBay/Paypal so if I don't see it today will be lodging a dispute and going Oztrack like I probably should of done to begin with.

Edit: Brakes are here. ECU isn't. Lodged a dispute with eBay asking for a refund. ECU meant to be here yesterday. The tracking number they gave has no events recorded so hasn't even been sent yet despite what they are saying.

Modified the air intake. Should go heaps quicker now.

86mm which should be plenty. Not sure if I will put a bit of pipe in yet. Probably pointless given the big overflow tube in the way.
Booked in for Monday to get all the brakes done as Dem is going mental driving it.

Well new tune finally arrived. It's OK. Has pepped it up a little. Probably less then I was expecting to be honest. Least it's a little less lazy down low. Booked in Wednesday to run it up on the dyno make sure the AFR is all good. Actually managed to source a Monaro cold air intake. Got all the bits for 45 bucks so not too bad. Will be here Tuesday.

Got the strut brace. Was a load of fun to fit. Can't say I notice much if any difference but it looks good so that's all that matters

Also got an annoying squeak from the AC belt that needs investigating.

I chased a sqeaking AC belt when I fitted my 25%U/D balancer.
Anyway after changing different size belts and and pulleys turned out to be the tensioner itself.

Give the suspect pulley a quick hit with Inox or silicone spray. That'll diagnose which pulley/s the culprit.

Well think car is getting better with the new ECU. Really moves now. Loving the quiet exhaust. Gave the engine a quick degrease today as it was so dusty. Had pictures but they all suck. Trying to find the push clips for the radiator shroud is turning into a mission. When I get the MCAI bits will talk to the guy and see what genuine cost.

Oh OK so it's definitely those? The VX has a VZ radiator shroud but it's from the growler kit. Has the push pins but they are pretty big. Thought they might be different. Cheers
