Most likely cause is the cluster has been swapped from another vehicle and not programed to suit the new one. ECC and SRS settings probably need to be changed.

i've had to replace most of the sensors on the engine, not because they stopped working, but the seals were shot and caused a ton of vacuum leaks.

It means any VT, any VX and VY series 1. VY Series 2 have a different exhaust due to emissions requirements.

Check the build plate under the hood.

August 2001 onwards is VX series 2.

On my old jvc harness it was the blue wire, on the new one both the aerial and amp power run off the same blue/white wire.

If your cruising on the highway you might find it to be slightly better, reason being when crusing the engine is "off-boost" ie the air is routed thru the bypass valve but its still heated by the supercharger cause its still spinning and slightly faster than before so hotter air = less dense air...

I can get close to 10l/100kms on LPG on the highway from melb to brissy, but around SE burbs i could only do a best of 16l/100. This is both before and after a maffless tune, it made SFA difference in economy. Idoubt you'll find much diffrence between the LS1 and the turbo around town, but on...

mine worked fine untill i had it maffless tuned, now it goes up and down like a yoyo..... could the tuner have accidently changed something to upset it?

I recon one of your coil packs is on its way out. I had the same issue with my super6 when it got converted.

I'm not sure, i know they're required on the injector kits to stop gunk clogging the injectors.

All injected gas cars have gas filters before the vaporiser. It should only cost ~$50 - $100 to have it done, check for leaks, replace filter and check (and touchup if needed) tune. Shouldn't take more than an hour to do either.

Well i averaged 8.4l/100 on the highway with SVI on the old car, probably would have gotten better without the a/c on. You just don't seem to be having much luck pk2k78. But more importantly Liquid Injection. Finally got it on and i'm not gonna hold back with my opinions of it either...

pump gas is a mixture of propane and butane, has a octane rating of 104 ron. Straight propane has a rating of 110ron. My car gets done in a few weeks and i plan on getting it dyno'd on all 3 fuels ( PULP, pumpgas and propane) just to see the diffrence.

Out of curiosity were you using pump gas (ie mobil, bp) or the straight propane from Supagas?

It's not a problem, its designed to do that. Under high load the a/c will switch off and the vents go to the floor posistion. Also does it on the non climate controled cars too.

its optional on the calais. If their is an airline running from the rear shocks then its got self leveling. You can disable it by diconnecting the pump. Chances are thoe when you lower it you'll get new shocks anyway i'm guessing so it wont matter, just make sure you remove the pump.

You want HID's? Gerald at gadgetmaster is your man. Hid's flickering can be the balast not getting enough power. It's best to wire them up straight to the battery and use the factory wires as the trigger.

Penrite HPR15. The oil would easily go for longer, but 7,000 kms is almost 6 months of my driving so that long enough for my likeing. I've always serviced my car at 7,000kms (or 6 months), even before the LPG conversion.

Yes every 7,000kms. Same with my oil, every 7,000kms, it'ld probably go for 15,000 - 20,000 kms, but i prefer to change them at every service.
